Microsoft Edge draw/highlight issue with portrait view

When trying to annotate a pdf, I use the tablet mode on my laptop and read/annotate the pdf in portrait view.

However I have encountered an problem where the draw/highlight buttons disappear upon changing in portrait view.

As a note, this was not an issue before and recently appeared.

SOLVED

For those with a similar problem, type edge://flags into the search bar.

Search for "Read Aloud in PDF" and click the dropdown arrow to the right of it. 

Select "disabled". I believe the error was a result of the browser trying to fit in all of the options. If you don't need the read aloud function this is a good fix.
